The Dallas Mavericks have to deal with another injury.
Mavericks Big Man Daniel Gafford had to be helped from the field on Monday evening in their match against the Sacramento Kings after his right knee tie up while trying to put a screen. Gafford crashed on the field in the Arena of the American Airlines and immediately reached to his knee, clearly in a lot of pain.
Gafford was eventually helped off the floor and did not put any weight on his leg as he did. The team ruled him with a knee sprain for rest.
Breaking: Daniel Gafford went off after the game with an apparent knee injury.
If he has been out for a while, Dallas will be without their Star Center Trio from Anthony Davis, Dereck Lively II & Daniel Gafford.
Get well soon, Gafford! 🙏 pic.twitter.com/mhpgpermu0

Although further details about Gafford’s injury are not yet known, it marks the newest that the team has to deal with at the position. The other three big men of the Mavericks – Anthony Davis, Derek Lively and Dwight Powell – are also all out with respective injuries.
Davis went down in his debut on Saturday with an adductor injury after the stunning blockbuster who ended up in Dallas in exchange for Ster Luka Dončić for the deadline. He is expected to recover several weeks. Lively has to do with an ankle injury and Powell is out with a hip injury.
Gafford, who is at the Mavericks in his second season, discussed the Monday game with an average of 12.5 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. The 26-year-old is in the second year of a three-year-old deal of $ 40 million that he first signed with the Washington Wizards.
The Mavericks came in on Monday’s match that came back-to-back victories, so they pushed to 28-25 in the season.
This message will soon be updated with more information.
