This is the project that would never be any thought …

If you follow Graveyard Carz, you probably already know from the Phantom ‘Cuda, a 440-6 car from 1971 with a 4-speed gearbox and shak hood that hit the entire production. Only 108 of these Mopars were once produced. It has been a work of love for years, but what is one of the most famous ’71 Plymouth ‘Cudas in the world has finally recovered in his former glory.

Crasted in a horrible street racing accident, this rare muscle car was used to promote the Kerkhof Carz in a smart place. The crew buried the crushed Mopar in loose dirt and then connected the modified hearse that they built, and dragged the ‘Cuda out of the ground as if he were being back from the grave by a necromancer. People were fascinated by that visual – let’s be honest, most auto shows do almost the same things, so something like that would see would be memorable.

To be honest, the Cudah of the Phantom was considerably called in, probably to the point that the average person would say that it was worth nothing and should be rejected. But the average person doesn’t know much. With something so rare and desirable, combined with determined people and the right skills, a restoration is possible, even if only mutilated metal remains.

That is what the video we have recorded from Grayyard Carz shows off, a wonder recovery. Although it took a long time to complete, it was mainly because the store was really super busy, so this project had to be set aside for some time.

If you work on a project car and be stuck, use this as inspiration. Even if it takes you years to make that thing run and look good, don’t give up. The difference between builders who impress everyone and people who just have a smoldering former project in their house is determination. With that, even if you don’t know how to solve certain things, you will learn how – we always see it. Of course, these guys are professionals and they have that advantage, but they still had to fight to have this great car done.
